Principles and Rationale
In the face of multifaceted global challenges in the 21st century—including environmental degradation, socio-economic disparities, economic volatility, and the profound impacts of public health crises and climate change—the international community has articulated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a comprehensive framework for fostering a just, secure, and equitable quality of life for all. Attainment of these goals necessitates a departure from compartmentalized knowledge structures towards a holistic, transdisciplinary approach that synthesizes diverse fields of inquiry to generate innovative, context-sensitive solutions across human, social, environmental, and technological dimensions.
The 19th National and International Conference, convened under the theme (Integrative Pathways to Sustainable Futures: Knowledge for Our Shared Tomorrow) aspires to serve as an academic forum for the critical exchange, deliberation, and dissemination of scholarly knowledge pertinent to the SDGs at local, national, and international levels. The conference encourages academic contributions from a broad spectrum of disciplines—including the humanities, social sciences, education, science, technology, and business administration—thereby fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative knowledge networks oriented toward sustainable futures.
This academic gathering holds strategic significance in catalyzing knowledge production and innovation that are responsive to the complex demands of contemporary society. It facilitates scholarly engagement through research presentation, intellectual exchange, and visionary discourse on sustainable socio-economic transformation. Furthermore, the conference aligns with the Graduate School’s Key Performance Indicator 4.1.2, which pertains to revenue generation through asset management and service delivery.
