Principles and Rationale

In the 21st century, the world is experiencing transformations across multiple dimensions—economic, political, social, cultural, environmental, and technological. These challenges are complex and deeply interconnected. Addressing them and fostering social progress and sustainability cannot rely on knowledge from a single discipline alone; rather, they require a multidisciplinary integration of knowledge to build comprehensive understanding and to design development approaches that align with ever-changing contexts.

Multidisciplinary integration serves as a crucial tool for connecting knowledge from diverse domains, including science and technology, social sciences, humanities, management, arts and culture, as well as practical knowledge from industry and communities. Such integration enables the synthesis of new knowledge and innovations that directly address real societal needs and challenges. Moreover, multidisciplinary collaboration promotes the exchange of perspectives, the building of partnerships, and the development of mechanisms that enhance effective problem-solving.

For this reason, the 21st National and International Conference on Innovation and Multidisciplinary Knowledge Integration for Sustainable Social Development is of great significance. It provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, students, experts, policymakers, and practitioners from various fields to present research, creative works, and innovations, while also engaging in broad-based knowledge exchange and sharing practical experiences. This conference not only promotes the dissemination of high-quality research but also fosters national and international collaboration networks, thereby strengthening research, education, and social development toward long-term resilience and sustainability.
